Emergency First Aid (St. John Ambulance)

This is a classroom-based 1-day St. John Ambulance-certified course in emergency first aid available multiple times a week at SCS. It includes “Level A CPR” which trains you in CPR to do on adults and kids age 8 and up. If you may need to do CPR on younger kids and infants, you need to click back and enroll in the two-day Standard First Aid – Level C (for children).

The course combines theory and hands-on exercises to teach you the skills you need to preserve life and prevent further injury. More than half the class time is for hands-on practice of first aid skills, so you will leave our course able to perform practical first aid in emergency situations. This emergency first aid course is suitable for people who can rely on ambulance services within 20 minutes of a 911 call. If you can’t rely on that, click back and enroll in Standard First Aid.
