Chris was knowledgeable and funny! With his real-world experience, he had an answer for every question and anecdotal examples of how scenarios play out in the real world.
Chris was great! The class was serious without being overbearing or boring. He made space for all levels of familiarity with H2S protocol and left no one scratching their heads or feeling alienated.
My only critique is that I mistakenly drove to Nisku after booking through the LSS website. This is clearly my fault, but perhaps a more obvious indication of which location one is booking at may be beneficial to others as well. I was really looking forward to BBQ for lunch. Ha ha.

Instructor giving the course was very informative and included the class in all discussions and kept the class engaged, also made sure everyone was comfortable with RPE equipment before moving onto different material

Instructor (Erik) was great and engaged the class with the H2S training I completed. The company was flexible with the original booking as I had to change to a later session in the week on very short notice. The facilities were clean and organized and I liked how they offered tea, coffee, etc. to their students.

SCS class cancellations – SCS reserves the right to cancel classes that do not reach the minimum enrollment requirements (e.g. on weekends) and/or for extenuating circumstances beyond its control. Of course, SCS will notify all registrants in a timely manner prior to the class start date. Fees for cancelled classes will be refunded in full or applied to another course upon request.
Student cancellations/withdrawals and no-shows – Formal cancellation or withdrawal from a course requires the student to provide notice of 24 hours prior to the class start date, by phone or e-mail: registration@safetycoordination.com or (780) 485-3585. Not showing up for a class without having cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance is considered a no-show. The following fees apply for no-shows: $65 for weekday courses, full cost for weekend courses.
Photo ID – All courses require you to bring along government-issued photo ID in order to receive your certification.
